Earlier this week, Simon & Schuster’s Atria division officially launched Skybound, a new publishing imprint that will put more sci-fi, fantasy, and horror titles on bookstore shelves.
Atria’s president and publisher, Judith Curr, said that the new imprint will welcome “bold, new voices and creative visions.” Skybound’s new senior editor, Michael Braff, will work with Skybound entertainment to get the imprint up and running.
Skybound’s stellar reputation within the realm of sci-fi, fantasy, and horror has been established by its television shows, which include The Walking Dead (on AMC) and Outcast (on Cinemax).
You can read more about Skybound at the Publisher’s Weekly or on Skybound’s website.
