This fall marks the beginning of the French Community College Abroad program, which will be open to select graduates of US community colleges who want to pursue a 4-year engineering degree abroad.
The program is a partnership between the Cultural and Scientific Services of the French Embassy, Community Colleges for International Development, and the n+i network of the 50 top engineering schools in France.
Within four years of graduating from their community college, US students will have the opportunity to earn a Diplôme d’ingénieur (Engineering Degree) in France.
The unique program includes one year dedicated to learning French language and teaching methods and three years of degree coursework at a n+i network school. During the three years of degree coursework, students will pay for their own degrees with a full-time paid workstudy.
